MARIA MULAS
Italian, 1935
Born in Manerba del Garda (Italy) in 1935, Maria Mulas moved to Milan in 1956 and started her activity as a photographer in the mid-1960s. During her long career she has taken portraits of artists, architects, designers, writers and intellectuals, she has photographed theatrical productions and fashion shows, “social rites” and architecture. She has had published several books. Her last exhibition Milano, Ritratti di fine ‘900 (Milan, Portraits from the end of the 20th century) was hosted at Palazzo Reale in Milan from November 2022 to January 2023.
